History of NTT Software

NTT Software Corporation was established in July 1985 when NTT became a private company after being a government organization. Our first business was designing and building of state-of-art and large-scale software for information communications for NTT Laboratories.

Since then, NTT Software has developed a variety of products and technology; advanced free-dial development of a large-size commercial network service system, the DIPS Operating system maintenance and development service was transferred from NTT Laboratory, etc. Additionally, NTT Software provides network services, total system integration and system solutions.

Our business fields include Next-Generation Networks(NGN),Long Term Evolution(LTE),Cloud Services.

2011

Jun.
Shinichi Yamada was appointed as President/CEO.

2010

Sep.
We formed capital and business allience with Terrasky Co,Ltd for cloud business.

2009

Jul.
We reorganized our company into five headquarters organization.

2008

Oct.
We began to sell the SaaS-type system connection service (SkyOnDemand).
Apr.
We obtained "Kurumin" certification, which supports to bring up offspring for the next generation.

2007

Jun.
Seiichi Ido was appointed as President/CEO.

2005

Mar.
Headquarters moved to Tokyo, Shinagawa.

2004

Dec.
We obtained ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISMS certification for its company-wide Total Management System (TMS).

2003

Jun.
Shigehiko Suzuki was appointed as President/CEO.
Jan.
We obtained ISO14001 certification.

2002

Dec.
We became the first Japanese ISMS certified company.

2000

Nov.
We certified with Privacy Mark.
Jan.
We formed strategic partnership with webMethods.

1999

Dec.
We established wholly owned subsidiary, NTT SOFT SERVICE Corporation.

1998

Jun.
The capital was increased to 500 million yen.
Feb.
The entire company was certified with ISO9001.

1997

Feb.
Seishiro Tsuruho was appointed as President/CEO.

1990

Aug.
The DIPS Operating system maintenance and development service was transferred from NTT Laboratory to NTT Software.

1988

Dec.
We launched Advanced free-dial software service, the first development of a large-size commercial network service system.

1985

Jul.
NTT Software Corporation was established with 200 million yen capital.
